Calling on Consumers of Mental Health Services within the CMHA
Your feedback is needed regarding a proposed model change for CMHA’s National Consumer Advisory Council (NCAC). Our voice will help to strengthen CMHA.
The National Consumer Advisory Council (NCAC) is looking for feedback about a proposed model change to NCAC from consumers of mental health services across CMHA.
Please take a few minutes to let us know what you think of this model change. Your voice is extremely important to us. We could not have completed our work without your input these past years.
Please read the draft “Brief to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) National Board of Directors” (see link below) that outlines the proposed changes, fill out the Consumer Feedback Form, and return it by e-mail to Julie Flatt at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Your feedback will help ensure that the proliferation of the consumer voice will continue within CMHA and will expand and strengthen the consumer movement across Canada.
The NCAC has been a revered body of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) for over two decades and credited with contributing to the momentum of consumer involvement and participation and the employment of persons with lived experience by CMHA. This consumer engagement has served as a model and continues to inspire stakeholders and governments throughout Canada.
