As with all serious illnesses, the sooner people get some proper
help for mental illness, the quicker and easier they tend to get
better. Not only that, but this sort of "early intervention"
also means that people have a far greater chance of staying better
too. |

The trick is to know what's happening, and get help as soon as
possible. So if you or someone you know might be having the sort
of experiences described above, seeing a doctor (your family doctor
is a good place to start) is a very good idea to get some help and
advice. They can refer you to a specialist if necessary. |
