This Mental Wellness Framework provides an outline
of what is needed for First Nations and Inuit to address mental
wellness at the community level. It is to be used as a reference
tool by communities. It provides an outline of what needs to be
addressed in First Nations and Inuit communities as comprehensive
programming is developed. It is also intended to provide information
to the federal government, AFN and ITK as they advocate for mental
